Ahead of the 2010 TOUR Championship, Jim Furyk made one of the best investments in golf history.

Three weeks prior, Furyk was frustrated with his putting performance- so he bought a used-putter for $38 at a discount golf shop in Boston. He then used it to win the TOUR Championship and cash the biggest check in golf: the $10 million FedExCup.
