HOUSTON TORNADO MAY 16,2024. Some trees down in our area. Our roof took a hit but it's being replaced anyways so it's no biggie for us. Downtown is a MESS to say the least! All those modern beautiful buildings are windowless now. But it's good to know that they can withstand winds up to 200 mph!!! There's shattered glass all over the streets. The clean up is going to be huge and the cost to bring all those buildings up to code is going to be phenomenal. You see office stuff all over the streets. WOW!
The last time hubby and I experienced something this bad was when Hurricane Ike hit.
Prayers for the dead and the wounded and for all the families that now have to deal with the aftermath.
