Elijah, a son haunted by his past, travels the long distance to his fathers remote and isolated camper-trailer in the countryside. His arrival is too late, as he discovers his father has been devoured by his own solitude.
With the goal to convince him to move into an aged care home, Elijah's hopes are torn apart as his father's corpse rests underneath the paws of a hungry dog.
Elijah struggles to come to terms with the discovery, faced with the moral debate of what he should do next and the trials of dealing with a formerly domesticated animal forced into a primitive state.
