Finally! I have been wanting to do this for a long time. Using the programs Parsec and Dolphin Emulator, I was able to let Alaxend0l, an HWVX speedrunner, fan, and someone I've known, connect to my computer and control the second player port, so we could play local multiplayer, but online. For the first part of the video, I used keyboard and he used a controller, but later on he switched to keyboard. The only issue with this whole system is that Alaxend0l, the one connecting to me, has a bit of delay from when he presses keys to when the action happens, nothing major though.

Im actually not 100% sure if the way I go into the Max Air Arena is the fastest way. It honestly might be faster to just skip the secret passageway and go in the main entrance. Also, you can do this Joyride in the complete opposite direction and get a similar time, so this Joyride route definitely isnt 100% set in stone.

A few tiny mistakes, but more than 30 seconds faster than the previous record. This is because of the new strategy of going right at the start of the Joyride rather than left. It turns out that the right route is faster, assuming that you do all of the various tricks properly. Glad to get this Joyride under 3 minutes.
