Hospital at home is an internationally recognized care model that gives patients safe and timely acute-level care from the comfort of their own home.
In April 2024, virtual health leaders from B.C. health authorities, the BC Ministry of Health, Alberta Health Services and Singapore’s Office of Healthcare Transformation gathered in Vancouver to exchange knowledge on Hospital at Home.
Participants forged regional and international partnerships by sharing their research and processes. Their goal: develop new, innovative processes for Hospital at Home that will impact the health care system and those who use it.
