Horton Dedermann was born in 1953. He was nonverbal for the early years of his life, and greatly admired the music of Gustav Holst. Later in life, he would befriend the future leader of the National Space Institute of America, Lake Sunger, who would comission a piece from him to accompany the 'Our Solar System' tape, first made in 1986. The 'Our Solar System' symphony was composed in 1983, and first shown on theaters in November of that year. Dedermann was staunchly of the opinion that Pluto should not be considered a planet, due to its miniscule size, and he had numerous debates with Sunger on this exact topic. He was also not a fan of a band that emerged in 1989, Attic Alliance, stating that their music was 'aimless and cheap'. Nonetheless, he would attempt to mentor the band in his spare time. Dedermann went missing during the Harvest Moon of 2004, and is presumed dead.
