We're basking in the glow of another excellent Horst.
You can always count on the Belgian festival to deliver a weekend packed with exceptional music. Every year, we come away feeling like artists went above and beyond for Horst's shrewd and committed crowd.
There were a couple of key changes this year. The Moon Ra stage was dismantled and transformed into HoRAbaixa, which many affectionately referred to as "old Moon Ra." The intimate hut made way for a tall, wooden structure inspired by an Italian bell tower, resulting in a more open dance floor, nestled in the trees.
Dark Skies benefitted from the addition of hefty subs lined around the expansive perimeter, while Circus, the new indoor stage, was the perfect, hazy home for some of the festival's finest techno and minimal.
All in all, it felt like yet another level up—just when you think Horst can't possibly get better, it surprises you all over again.
