There is one argumental mistake that seems to surface terribly often, in some debates, and that is the horseshoe and hand-grenade fallacy. The reason it arises seems pretty obvious, in some contexts A looks like B. Considering the laws of identity, and non contradiction, one can be self deceived by grabbing some false equivalences and then hurling them at another party. We know from real experience that something can be shiny, located in the ground, and be heavy, but still not be "gold." Why would we not think this could be the case in the world of ideas? Just because one concept mirrors another on three levels, does not make it exact. #truth #Christian #God #fundamental #evangelical #charismatic #apologetic
