Three nights horsepacking deep into Wyoming’s Wind River Range with my boys and a few good friends from our neighborhood.
We hiked the Titcomb Lake Trail, found a great spot with pasture, water, trees for our Haven Tents and flat ground for the "ground dwellers". We got the full mountain weather experience along the way: rain, thunder, and even a round of hail.
This trip was also a chance to put a new Dyneema Haven Tent prototype 🤫 through some real backcountry conditions. Lightweight, packable, and definitely tested by the weather.
We brought our REYR Gear telescoping fly rods along for the trip and found time to fish the alpine lakes, then finished the adventure with a hike down to Gorge Lake on our final day.
Horsepacking, backpacking, camping, fly fishing, big storms, and a few incredible days in one of my favorite mountain ranges.
