Pretty good map, unfortunately imo I got pretty unlucky on room 4 which really brought down my enjoyment. I died at least 5 times past the feathers, which everything after that I considered basically free. The previous session I didn't realize I was doing the core block reverse incorrectly, so I ended up dying 3 times there, only realizing how to properly do it next morning. It also didn't really help that a quite a few inputs in this room felt really awkward, especially the part with the feather. I'll also say that the balancing in the rooms itself isn't the greatest, especially in room 5 / final. I had a total of 2 runs past the small Old Site section, which is like up to 1/3 of the screen? Like the last 2/3 of this screen is super duper easy compared to the start. Aside from the luck, this map was pretty cool.
Sadly I won't be able to play The Solar Purgatory (by ZKB) on release cause I'm traveling, so rip my chance at a first clear :( . I will be playing it first thing when I get back home though, so hopefully that map is super fun. It's a lot of throwable gameplay mixed with bumpers, as the title suggests being a mix of The Solar Express and Pumber.

SPLOwON maps = a bajillion views for some reason (hopefully). It happened with Mature Grape+ and looks like its happening with this map also lol
This map is pretty good, I really like how the map looks and the general gimmick of the reverse dreamblocks, I definitely struggled a lot though. I personally think this nyoom mauvelike gameplay is one of my worst skillsets. I think in hypers uncut golden footage of this map, we were talking about how theres sort of three different main categories of skill: input density, input complexity, and frame-windows. I can see this being expanded on a lot and really like the idea of this, but for now Ill just say that whatever combination of these categories that makes up this map, that is my weak point. Hyper placed FC of this map in low 2*, I personally would place it in high 2*. That being said, I dont really have any clue whats going on with hardlist before, I know hyper made a lot of quality of life changes, but I feel like theres still a lot of debate regarding specific maps being on 1* or not.
Also I finally made it so OBS records multiple audio tracks instead of just one, so hopefully the audio balance between my mic and the game is a lot better. Also also, sorry if the video quality looks kinda iffy sometimes, I probably forgot to fix some settings when switching said OBS set-ups.

Ok context: I tried this a few months ago, got stuck at room 5 and rage quit, beat some maps, went back to try 24 for a bit, then got bored again.
Eventually I got to trying Election D-side and cleared ALL rooms except the blind room. The problem was… it sucked. I was getting nowhere, so i thought Id beat another map while still attempting it. Somehow I thought Dashless+ would be a good idea, but then I beat like 9 rooms in a day somehow, to which I kinda just forgot about Election D-side to focus on this map. Also seeing some other clears fueled me with vengeance / spite or whatever to clear this map.
Thats all the context, enjoy the statistics now.

Now the actual map.
I remember hearing about this map, but it was commonly portrayed in a more negative light simply cause it was dashless gameplay. But eventually as more people cleared, people were talking about how fun the map was. And believe it or not, theyre right! This map was really fun (aside from a few rooms). But by FAR the biggest issue with this map wasnt the maps fault, but due to the keyboard I was using.
One of the biggest factors in me just not being able to clear rooms is my keyboard. Its 50hz, which is really bad and means I cant consistently 1 frame tap. This makes some lineups stupidly annoying to set-up or just straight up luck. Rooms 12, 16, and 24 are offenders of this, I just had to accept that sometimes my subpixels wouldnt work for the a set-up. I dont mean this in any condescending way, but I really think I couldve cleared even faster and definitely enjoy the map more if it werent for my unfortunate keyboard. But I DID realize about halfway through room 24 that I didnt need to ONLY use my keyboard. I tested out my Switch Pro Controllers d-pad and sure enough, it could reliably 1f tap. And after a short 2 day break and another day of playing, I beat the room.
Overall, I had a great time with this map. With all the new strats, its definitely not as hard as it used to be but still extremely difficult nonetheless. Id like to shoutout Issy, Ninz, and Celestecord for a lot of strats used. Aswell as Arti and Kaleb_22 for giving the the spiteful energy to actually start this map. Thank you to everyone!
