Horror Special Effects Legends Greg Nicotero, Tom Savini, and Christopher Nelson gave a panel at Silver Scream Con 4 to talk about their projects, share their experiences, and answer fan questions.
Greg Nicotero is well-known for his horror effects and makeup work on The Walking Dead. He has also worked on such productions as Pulse, Preacher, Suicide Squad, Hemlock Grove, Breaking Bad, Jennifer’s Body, Scream, Men in Black, Misery, and many more.
Tom Savini is famous for his effects as well as his acting. He has appeared in From Dusk Till Dawn, Grindhouse, Land of the Dead, Maniac, The Ripper, Dawn of the Dead, and many more. He has provided special effects and makeup for films such as Day of the Dead, The Burning, Alone in the Dark, Dead of Night, and Creepshow 2, among others.
Christopher Nelson has created amazing effects on such productions as American Horror Story, Halloween Kills, Kill Bill, Fear Street, Legion, Avengers: Infinity War, The Orville, Major Crimes, The Cape, Serenity, and many more.
