This is my interview with fantasy and horror writer John Hornor Jacobs.
We talk about his very early introduction to fantasy and horror via his dad, growing up in Arkansas and what that was like. We discuss the lines that exist between different genres. We also talk about the origin of cosmic horror, HP Lovecraft and that generation of writers compared to what we have today.
John has written and has published a number of novels, all of them unique and interesting, none more so than his original fantasy trilogy from Gollancz which started with The Incorruptibles which was how I was first introduced to him many years ago.
