It's never easy to see this kind of thing as a motorcyclist, and whether the rider be Yammie Noob or not - I wish you a speedy recovery and all the best.

Until we know more, there's no point arguing over what happened. As motorcyclists ourselves we should all feel a degree of sympathy for this rider.
