The odd feeling of an abandoned post-industrial site. That’s the Hornisgrinde, the highest mountain in the Northern Black Forest of Germany.
History:
Prior to WW2 used as a popular tourist spot
1942 confiscated by the Nazis and turned into an air defense base
1945 used by the french army a secret base during the cold war
1997 released and turned back to the local community
