It is not unknown I have immense respect for Edward Thompson and his maintenance-friendly Pacific locomotives. Having already covered the class A2/3 in the pilot of my Those Great Locomotives series, I thought I would take a look at the Hornby offering of this seldome celebrated class by looking at my R3833 514 'Chamossaire' in LNER Apple Green, as well as a brand new R3834 60512 'Steady Aim' in British Railways Brunswick Green Early Chrest.
