Designed by Henry Fowler, the real Patriot Class was introduced to haul the LMS's premier express passenger services. No. 5514 'Holyhead' entered service in 1932 before being renumbered in 1938, the period faithfully represented by this model. The locomotive is DCC Ready with a 21-pin decoder socket, sprung metal buffers and comes complete with an accessory pack including crew figures.
