When it comes to choosing planners, a big determining factor is whether you want a Horizontal Weekly layout or a Vertical Weekly layout. What are the differences between the two and what are each of them best used for?
Vertical Weekly layouts - users see the days of the week horizontally with space for each day going down vertically with a time schedule for each day. Best for time blocking and keeping track of appointments and meetings. Usually more structured/less flexible.
Horizontal Weekly layouts - users see the days of the week vertically with space for each day going across horizontally. This layout gives more blank space making it better suited for writing a short journal entry or a few to-dos each day. More flexible, less structured.
