It's hard to explain what I was trying to say about the horizon, so here's a video.
This video is my attempt to explore and explain how the left-to-right curve on a sphere Earth is a perspective effect. As far as I can tell, there is no other effect besides this.

So QED please give that a look, and let's discuss it. Is there something different you were thinking of?

And for any flat-Earth folks, I'm sorry this video is probably pretty uninteresting for you. No proofs. No debunks. Just a simulation to help visualize what the sphere should look like.
