The dedication of the new Daryl and Steven Roth Wing at the Hopkins Center for the Arts at Dartmouth was held on Friday, Oct. 17, as part of the reopening of the expanded and renovated Hop.
The ceremony included a performance by the Dartmouth Wind Ensemble and remarks by: Dartmouth President Sian Leah Beilock; Mindy Kaling ’01, an award-winning writer, actor, and producer; Ash Fure, associate professor of sonic arts and director of the Master of Fine Arts in Sonic Practice program; and Mary Lou Aleskie, the Howard Gilman ’44 Executive Director of the Hop. The Dartmouth Aires a capella group also performed before Board of Trustees Chair Elizabeth Cahill Lempres ’83, Thayer ’84, delivered closing remarks. The ceremony ended with a performance led by Knoelle Hingston and the Dartmouth Gospel Choir.
