Vibrational sound healing can be traced back to many ancient civilizations including India, Africa, Europe, and the Orient. Each culture had unique approaches specific to their region and beliefs – bells, chimes, bowls, gongs, drums and vocal toning, chants or repetitive sound vibrations. Take 5 is a series of short, mindful video moments suitable for middle school or high school students that provide an easy way to bring mindfulness into the classroom each day.

Founded in 1997, Hope Stone is driven by its mission to unlock the innate creativity of young people and adults through its arts outreach initiatives The Hope Project and Hope Stone Dance. The Hope Project serves children and adults in their schools and facilities, providing music, dance and theater classes. In the 2020-21 school year, the program is partnering with 11 schools/organizations reaching over 1,000 students, of whom 85% are from marginalized communities. Hope Stone Dance is known for its powerful, joyful and profoundly human performances, its strong, technical ensemble work with “effortless partnering” and “gorgeous, big-hearted movement.” From warehouses to local streets to traditional theaters, the company brings communities together through the power of live art.
