Conner "Scrawny" Girvan, famous play-by-play Counter-Strike comentator, is the star of the 519th Episode of 'Reflections'. This is part two of three about Scrawny's career.
Scrawny got his break after posting a clip of him commentating a knife round to reddit. From there he managed to land work with some smaller online tournaments and NA LANs. Quickly finding and establishing a partnership with launders he was able to rise through the ranks over the coming years and most famously began to gain a strong foothold with BLAST during their Pro Series era.
When the world went online in 2020, Scrawny was able to overtake some of the bigger names in the space and his brand is tightly aligned with BLAST as a circuit and he and launders are considered the premiere duo of that part of CS. Starting with PGL Antwerp, Scrawny has now commentated seven straight majors, a streak which is still on going as of now.
In part two, Scrawny discusses iconic casting calls, his mentality towards improvement, how he has made openings and closing a specialty and knowing people are praying on his downfall.
