Here it is!! My submission for Hooping Idol Goes Country on Hooping.org for Hooping Idol 3. I was kind of excited about this theme week. I'm not a huge country music fan but I grew up in the South listening to it, so I had plenty of options to go with. And choosing a song was difficult!! Country music, a lot of times, is about telling a story and this song is definitely a good example of that.
The song is Martina McBride's "When God-Fearin' Women Get the Blues". (Alternate hoopy title is "When Hoop-Lovin' Women Get the Blues") She's one of my vocal idols, so it was only fitting. I don't claim to own this song and there's no copyright infringement intended. I'm just dancing to it.
Filming location: Hartsville, SC
I'm happy with this video despite having a very small filming time frame which was plagued by insane gusts of wind. Thanks to Scott Roberts for helping me with the filming this week, and the support I've gotten from my Columbia Hoops family. :-)
