What an incredible journey this has been!!!
This video means a lot to me, and there was a lot of heart and soul put into it. Not to mention pain (you should see the bruise on my hip from busting my butt in NC...too bad it was right out of frame on the video). Anyway, I was able to chronicle a bit of my hoop/life journey here. I was able to film in my hometown of Morristown, TN, where I first discovered hooping from Aletheia Davidson. I filmed at my alma mater Mars Hill College in Mars Hill, NC. And I also filmed in Columbia, SC, at the State House where we meet with a fantastic group to hoop every week! I wanted to film there because of the awesome "hoop energy" resonating around that spot from our fun-filled meetings.
I put a lot in the credits for the video, so I'm not going to say too much here, but again a big shout out to Ashlee and Abbee from Tennessee for being in a video on their first day of hooping, They got interested because of seeing my Hooping Idol videos, and I got to make them hoops, which they received about an hour before filming this.
Thanks to Sherry in NC for re-arranging her schedule to meet up with me and be in the video in Mars Hill!!
And to all my awesome Columbia Hoopers in the video: Vikki, Diane, Gina, Kristie, Ann, Jennifer, Danielle, Jen, James, Evelyn, Sarah, Elizabeth and the new hoopers there Tuesday night!! (I don't think I missed anyone......) THANK YOU!!
And EVERYONE who has supported me through this. It's been completely overwhelming! I love you all.
