Today (Dec. 13) is the feast of St. Lucy. On Dec. 11, the St. Padre Pio Chapel in Gates offered a special Mass, celebrated by Father Edward Palumbos, and dinner to commemorate the feast day. Charles A. Schiano Sr., the organizer of the event, talks about the significance of St. Lucy and the former St. Lucy Church, which was located on Troup Street in Rochester.
