Honoring Ambassador Kanji Yamanouchi, Consul General of Japan in New York

Japan Society was honored to welcome Ambassador Kanji Yamanouchi, Consul General of Japan in New York, at a private event on February 8, 2022 to thank him and reflect on his extraordinary contributions to U.S.-Japan relations in New York during his tenure. In this program, he was honored by several members of Japan Society’s Board of Directors and participated in a candid conversation with Joshua W. Walker, Ph.D., President and CEO of Japan Society, to recount some of his fondest memories in New York.
