In a Fifth Gear Death Match test, during the last series, the Honda e and Peugeot e 208 emerged as the two finalists, from an original line up of 5 EV city cars. And when timed over a short twisty city lap the Honda sprung a surprise by being a massive 1.8 seconds quicker – in spite of being considerably slower to 62. So, was it simply the case that that particular track suited the car, or has it got some hidden talents? To find out we are staging a rematch, but this time on a grown up track.
