A 2017 Honda Civic LX four door sedan was impacted from the rear by a 1357 kg moving barrier at a velocity of 80 km/h (50 mph).

There was no fuel system fluid spillage following the test. The maximum longitudinal crush was 595 mm of which the average was 505 mm. The vehicle appeared to comply with all the requirements of FMVSS No. 301R "Fuel System Integrity – Rear Impact"
