In the early 1970s, every morning school break was dominated by one massive debate: Which was the king of the road - the four-cylinder Honda CB750 or the three-cylinder Triumph Trident? 🏍️
More than 50 years later, I’m settling the score once and for all! Using a hilariously unscientific points system, I’m pitting these two legends against each other across five categories: Production years, Top Speed, Horsepower, Weight, and Price.
I’ll also be looking at 'survivor' stats to see which bike truly stood the test of time on UK roads, and checking current eBay prices to see which one commands the most 'bling' today. As a proud owner of a 1975 Triumph Trident T160, I might be a little biased... but will the 'British kick, bollock, scramble' approach beat Japanese precision?
