this is my lyricover of Sarabande from the webcomic Homestuck. the original was compsed by Erik Scheele, known as Jit in the webcomic's circle. you can find much of Erik's work below.

as with all lyricovers on my channel, this is a song created when i wrote lyrics over an instrumental track to create a bit of fandom art. the mixing, recording, editing, and lyrics were all managed by myself alone.

+ easily one of my favorites. the melodies are really pure and my voice was in good condition.
- requiem is pronounced wrong omg. omg. omg. mozart would laugh at me
+ the lyrics are really lovely and the rhymes aren't over-the-top considering the depth of the subject matter.
- i think i could have mixed this a bit better, or gotten my mic to pick up better quality. the regret here is now the audio recording quality, which is a good sign, but doesn't keep as well.
- i really regret ever sharing my personal vision when creating a fan song like this, because it really limits people's creativity. it isn't really my place to decide what a song means to other people, and this can be a song for so many things.
