Homesteading : An inside look at the lives of four homesteaders.
Ever wondered what it would be like to move out to the country, get off grid, grow your own food, and connect with nature and your self?
These four homesteaders have done that to some degree. Forrest having attempted it for 3 years finds great insights from the lessons he learned. Barbara loves the lifestyle and provides more than 70% of the food she eats from the land she lives on. Connie lives in a communal properties with other homesteaders and although navigating that has been challenging at times, finds homesteading extremely rewarding, and Ben and his family expanding their garden into a market farm with goats, and pigs, and chickens and the hopes and dreams of feeding not only themselves but the community around them. Homesteading is a lifestyle that seems idelic but the reality of it can be varying and in this film we share the experiences of 4 uniquely different homesteaders.
