In a time when Short form animation rained supreme, one show changed the internet forever, Homestar Runner!
It's hard to imagine a time when the internet wasn't a major part of our every day, but over 20 years ago two brothers chaps (Mike and Matt Chapman) were about to change the game when it comes to online entertainment....with a little show called Homestar Runner!
With it's simplistic style, and childish voice overs, there was not a man, woman or child who didn't love Homestar Runner! “SEWIOUSLY” it is great! While it remains one of the internets most sought after series, it is not the same as it used to be! After a 4 year hiatus and an irregular return….
Two decades does their future hold?
In a time before youtube and most social media...homestarrunner.com was the place to find weekly adventures into the surreal! From its cast of whacky characters (Homestar Runner, Homsar, Strong Bad, Pop Pom, Bubz, Coach Z, etc) to its eclectic music! so many features of this show changed the game of how we view the internet as it is today!
While it was Homestar that was the face of this online endeavor it was ultimately Strong Bad Email videos that stole the show....but in this story it is much more than just two chaps glued to their adobe flash animation software...
This is the story of a bygone era on the interwebs, and how two brothers passion shined brighter than any others!
