If you are tired of trying to remember scripts when making videos then this quick and easy to make teleprompter is the solution. It uses PROPER BEAM SPLITTER glass to avoid too much ghosting of text and yet can be made for around £50.
It folds up to protect the glass and make it more convenient size to store and transport.
I purchased my beam splitter glass from scientificmirrors.co.uk and all other components are easy to get from your local hardware store or Amazon etc.
I designed it to slide onto my camera rig rails but you could also fit a quick release plate to mount it onto a tripod.
