Hi everyone! Thank-you for checking out my vocal cover of Home from Toby Fox's wonderful game, Undertale. I think it's been almost 3 years since I did a vocal cover/remix like this... But now that my game is finished, I have more free time, and am really excited about getting back to my roots and posting more music here on the channel! The lyrics in this song were inspired by my mom, who used to sing to me a lot when I was growing up :)
A small note about Undertale: I ended up playing it when I was about 95% finished making Rakuen... and it inspired me for kind of an random reason. At the time I was struggling with some decisions about the dialogue in my game. There were parts where I really just wanted to let loose and be over-the-top silly, and some parts that were really sentimental... I felt a bit self-conscious about both of these things and kept asking myself, "is this okay? will people get it?" But after playing Undertale, I felt like... you know, it's okay to do that; to really just be yourself. So... thank-you Toby, for making something so unique and funny, and so from the heart.
