Making some music at home during the covid-19 lockdown.
The Volca Sample is providing the beats and percussion, and at some points the subs. I used the panning to send the kickdrums to channel 1 on the mixer and everything else to channel 2. The kickdrum also goes into the RNLA compressor as a sidechain control - the Cathedral reverb goes into the compressor. The Volca Bass plays a bass line but also a top line, using different pattern lengths to change the sequence over time.
To make the noise/wash sounds it's just a Monotron Delay set to full feedback, and also some snare wires amplified with a contact mic. Both heavily reverbed.
About half way through I knocked the power supply to the Volca Sample and had to reset it - managed to keep things fairly on track.
I was helped out by Weirdo, offering moral support and sunbathing.
