#NewMusicFriday: After the success of the School of Rock video, I’ve decided to release a song recorded by young performers every Friday. First from this series is ‘Home’ from the hit Broadway musical Beetlejuice performed by Nicola Turner, who played the title role in the Matilda UK & Ireland Tour. The reason why I’m doing is because it’s still uncertain when theatres will reopen, and it’s having significant impact on all people who works in the industry and theatre-goers. I want to use this platform to give people a chance to keep performing, enjoy some music and raise a little money. As per every video, I will put some links below and hope you will consider donating to those charitable organisations. Just like the Tesco slogan goes, ‘Every little helps.’ You may wonder why I don’t choose one single charity or set up a funding page. It’s because, like the School of Rock video, there will be performers from across the world. There will be some exciting things coming up (I’m doing another major project with the cast of – I’m not gonna spoil it for you!), so stay tuned every Friday!
