We are finally building on our home addition project! Previously we had removed dead trees, prepared the foundation, prepared plumbing, and poured cement. Now it is time to actually build the home. Cory and I took a step back and hired builders to do the shell of the build. This project is a little out of our league and we do not have the tools to do this kind of framing efficiently or safely. We were impressed with the builders and how hard they worked in the heat.

We camp and hike in and around the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, we often travel, and we’re also building and enjoying an off- grid cabin in the woods and we love sharing the journey with you!
