I recently stumbled upon this super interesting AR service called Holomaps. Holomaps is made by a company called Taqtile who you can find at taqtile.com/holomaps/.
Holomaps (found in Hololens Store) enables you to visualize mapping data dynamically streamed from a variety of data sources. There are two versions, free and enterprise. The free version comes with some basic manipulation tools like position. rotation, and scale (PRS). It also comes with some more advanced tools like markups and toggleable info-layers. For example you can toggle realtime traffic or see who is tweeting and where they're tweeting from. While being able to view tweets might not be super valuable, being able to contextualize real time, dynamic data toootaly is. Kelly from Holomaps was nice enough to take some time to walk through a few of the workflows.
