hey everyone !!
this is my first edit in a longgg time that's a song not by bts/a bts member. a lot of you also wanted more bar edits and i love making them too so i decided to use lee hi's newest song that was recommended to me by my irl friend (( hi kat :D ahaha )). anw, please listen to it! it is so underrated and i've been obsessed with it these days. besides it being rly catchy, i found the lyrics to be vv healing and uplifting and thought i'd share them with you guys : )
also !! just a quick note: there is no official acoustic version by lee hi herself (yet, at least - or during the time i started editing this). i decided to challenge myself and see if i could make a more chill and intimate acoustic version as if she's singing in a bar just for you. i simply did this by creating an acapella version and using an acoustic cover instrumental (creds; youtube.com/watch?v=kGqjhAaMtpI).
as for the theme of this edit, ig i was inspired through my own feelings rn and what i think many young (and older) ppl go through (or continue to go through). i have just graduated uni a few months ago and have been feeling very lost and unsure of what my future entails (miss carona has def NOT made it easier too lmao). i have many dreams but the reality of my life rn continues to ground me somewhere else. this isn't necessarily a bad thing, but i can't lie and say that it doesn't get frustrating at times. i wake up many days and sleep later nights just getting overwhelmed with worry and unfulfillment. but it's ok tho, ik that i'm where i need to be rn and wherever i want to be, i will get there soon.
so, ig this one is for anyone who feels the same - you who has sacrificed their dream or postponed it to either work towards that dream or smth else for whatever reason you needed to, or you who just feels lost, stuck, or left behind

ik many of you are stuck studying/working at home. some of you guys probably miss studying with ur friends or being at ur fav cafe/cubicle at the library during times when that might not be possible for u rn. or maybe u jus wanna get away bc its harder for you to focus at home or maybe you thrive better in a certain environment with certain ppl.

when i saw kamakshi 2003s request, i thought itd be a brilliant idea to make a study w me feat. namkook as ur friends !! they also requested i add some music so i decided to create a cafe ambience as well by adding some cafe sounds + rly soft music in the background (( nothing too loud/intrusive to ur studying, hopefully !! )). that way, itll feel like youre at your fav spot, jus working away. its also been a pretty long time since i last made a simple asmr vid, so i hope you guys enjoy this one. :D

i almost never reuse songs to create a different edit, but i thought this would be a rly interesting concept to do. i didnt know what song to use but i got rly inspired after watching bangbangcon and rewatching their born singer performance for the wings final and literally just bawwwwling my eyes out. itll always be one of my fav performances bc its one of their songs that i feel rly radiates the hardships they went through. anw, i just tried to experiment a lil more with the sounds for this and had no intentions of posting bc i thought it wasnt that clean. but i enjoyed making it and also wanted to post smth for their anniversary. i hope you guys enjoy! :D
☾; some more technical info if youre interested
its supposed to sound like your perspective of the concert through wearing an in-ear monitor! ive also added some aspects of being backstage, to going up on the stage, to actually being on stage.
i also added moments of putting on/taking off the earpiece as suggested by YEON TAN to make it sound more realistic and also to mimic moments when artists would take them off to hear the band or themselves more, or even the audience (especially when they let the fans sing along and they want to hear their voices).
overall, it was challenging to make it sound as realistic as possible and if youve ever used an IEM, it probably wont sound THAT accurate. i did do some research and most musicians/audio technicians/monitor engineers said singers just hear their voices more (which also meant less crowd noise, minimal band sounds including bass and drums, etc.) so i tried creating an acapella version of born singer and isolated the sound towards the right ear. however, you can still hear that i shifted the instrumental a bit in the left ear to mimic mic feedback and that i also added more bass as well + kept some of the crowd and firework sounds so that it still feels like youre performing in an arena. if you would like purely isolated vocals, you could also just take out your left earphone and only leave your right earphone on : )")

ppl always comment abt how specific my titles are or how detailed my edits are so i took that as a challenge 🤠this is prolly my most detailed edit thus far to give you the FULL but youre at the bathroom of a party experience feat. 4 different scenarios that showcase some of the kinds of ppl u //might// meet in high school (( may or may not be frm personal experience lmfaooo)). anyway, i went a lil go crazy go stupid with the details but i had a lot of fun making it and i hope you guys like it too !! :^)))
