J.J Abrams’ Super 8 is one of those period piece films that feels truly authentic to the time it’s set in. It captures the sincerity and melancholy of a time in our lives we all remember- losing our childhood innocence and transitioning into adulthood. Today, we look back on Super 8 and remember a time that was much simpler and (in this case) MUCH more supernatural.
