I recently got this amazing webcam which could almost replace my mirrorless camera setup. The concerning thing is that it gets hot, very very hot during normal operation, and it remains hot even when idle.
I have reached out to Hollyland support and they said this was normal and within specifications. I am not sure if they will come up with a firmware fix.
For now I will continue to use this webcam, but if it fails within a year, I will be requesting a refund.
