Silksong is here! Training for Steel Soul, I decided to record relatively clean battles vs every boss. Rules for each are simple; no tools, crests, or skills besides the default Hunter and Silkspear, no healing, and my attacks deal half damage (via mod)
I love the vibe of this one, big ceiling bosses have always had a softspot with me. Ads are annoying, but only because of my half-damage mod, under normal circumstances you can simply wipe them before they doubleteam you with the boss, but even then she can squish them with her slams.

I am not exactly sure if my half damage mod works here, I dont think this is really an entity with HP so much as a very complex environmental object to take down. I wish you could reach this boss without double jump, as the ability makes it pretty trivial.")

I love this boss a lot, but its kinda easy. Its mostly about the spectacle and music really, which they match very well. Phase 3 is a lot harder, but it also doesnt last tooo long, especially with standard damage.")

Lace is probably my favorite fight in act 1, with only 2 others competing. She has 3 main attacks plus a counter; a double slash, a lunge, and a leap that then comes back down with a thrust. At 50% HP, she also gains a move that hits a wide area. Worth noting that she sometimes does a little fencers flourish at the end of a move, and that can block your strikes or even hit you if you arent careful.
Its cliche to call fights like this a dance but this is a dance you can also kick your partner off into the lava for extra damage (roughly 40 or so, of her 250 HP) so I dont even mind doing it this one time.")

Very easy boss, but quite the spectacle. His hand swipes are easy enough to dodge and all can be punished with a silkspear if you happen to be far away. Finishing him off with the explosive rock isnt explicitly necessary, but hes got quite a bit of health to take off the old fashioned way with no real change in pattern so may as well do the cool scripted thing.")

Not a super complex boss, really. He doesnt do a whole lot if youre very far away, and has trouble tracking you if you keep jumping over his head. I got this in like the second try or such.")
