stumped about this. one day it starts and runs fine the next this with no clear explanation since nothing changed on the truck.

SOLUTION:
I found a 12V wire that had rubbed through and was grounding to the block. It was back feeding into the ECU which is why the voltages were weird. Once I fixed the wire the issue went away.
Check for 12V wires grounding back to the ECU.
