In our Hollander Clinical Problem Solving Rounds, we observe how master clinicians reason through challenging cases. While getting the diagnosis “right” is impressive, the learning comes from witnessing how experts navigate the zigs and zags of a diagnostic journey in a case that unfurls in real-time (as it does in life, of course). For this Hollander Rounds, our discussant will be Daniel Minter.
Daniel Minter, MD, is an assistant professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at UCSF Health. He has a special interest in caring for immunocompromised patients and patients with neurologic infections. Minter is a former UCSF resident and last year’s recipient of The Harry Hollander Award for Teaching in Clinical Reasoning. His primary academic interests involve medical education and clinical reasoning.
