This is 'Holiday Parade' - a rather quaint set of films that were aimed squarely at the discerning visitor to the Channel Islands. Your host is Garrick Law, and in 1966 he nosed his way around all the islands whilst exploring the delights that each had to offer.
Incidentally, Channel TV inadvertently became a pioneer at this point, as Holiday Parade was the very first breakfast telly transmitted regularly on British Television. Hopefully that bit of info might come in useful during a pub quiz or if you're keen on looking nerdy in front of your mates.
Anyway, let’s join Garrick as he investigates how a 1960's holidaymaker would get to the islands and then watches a surfing competition in St. Ouen.
