UPDATE: I'm adding Christmas Around the World from Gather Round (link below). As I was getting more into planning I realized there were only a few days that had enough content to count for school in Shepherd's Treasure. (I remembered that's part of why I purchased it initially. It's not too difficult to implement. We plan to do the first two lessons (Iceland and New Zealand), stretching each lesson over about four days. My guess is we will need the week after Christmas off or VERY LIGHT (math and minimal language arts, and finishing up read alouds only), but if we need something to fill that week, we will add Brazil for fun.

Hi! I’m Laura, homeschooling mom to three. I’m excited to share our homeschooling journey with you. We tend to follow a child led unit study approach to homeschooling, but I like to pull ideas from many different educational philosophies. The great thing about home education is that each family and life stage is so different. No two homeschools look the same. My hope is that by sharing my journey, I can offer support, encouragement, and inspiration to help you think outside the box to create a dynamic homeschool experience tailored to your family.
