Flash Domino | Holiday Chain Reaction! (w/ Berlagawesome) @flashdomino | Uploaded 8 years ago | Updated 1 minute ago
On December 22, 2015, Berlagawesome and Flashdomino set up 2,000 dominoes and a chain reaction machine at Mitchell Park Library. The two of us built from 12 to 6 pm and toppled it at 6:30 in front of an audience of 80 people. We also gave a presentation saying who we are, how we started building, and how we’ve grown as builders, so everyone could get to know us.
Thank you so much to the staff and guests at Mitchell Park Library for being such great hosts, I had so much fun at the event! Hopefully we can do this again soon!
For this project, I tried experimenting with different color combinations that would represent a “holiday”. I freehanded an entire domino tricks section, some snowflakes, and two domino present cubes at the end. I also built a tiny machine within the domino section :D Beralgawesome built the absolutely amazing machine at the beginning.
Unfortunately, Berlagawesome had one machine fail and I had one domino fail. During a regular domino turn, the line stopped with three dominoes leaning on one! The audience didn’t mind, though. We were still met with lots of applause! :D
