Recently I bought a new pair of sweatpants that arrived with a hole in the pocket, so I fixed it myself at the sewing machine. This quick & easy repair method works for a hole or gap at the seam of a pair of pants, skirt, or dress. It will *not* work for a tear or hole in the middle of the fabric. Demonstrated on a Juki DDL-8700 industrial sewing machine using Glide 40 weight trilobal thread (available in my Etsy shop). Whenever I can, I prefer to mend my clothing and home textiles to extend the life of these items.
