Using @inamuffincup 's entanglement technique to hold horse armor. This can also be used to hold cooked food items for the advanced WMC recipes if you align your tabs correctly.
Have 4 shields, locked armor tab with armor transferred into it via IST, and do the following with your other tabs configured as shown in video:
1. Throw weapon, pick it up, and scroll to 4th shield.
2. Tap d-pad right, left, right, left.
3. Tap Y to sort, then d-pad left.
4. Tap right stick 1 / 4 / 7 pages to right.
5. Hit A to select item on left of next page and "drop" to hold.
Only do this for items with 3d models or the game will crash. This means roasted or frozen stackable food items (no regular meals or elixirs) or certain key items (slate, glider, horse gear, thunder helm).
