Matt's parents were killed when he was young, leaving him to take care of his beloved younger sister, Jordan. He became a cop with the Special Victims Unit, where he met Jason, a fellow cop. Jason and Matt began what a relationship, and Jason began abusing Matt.
Matt finally broke away from Jason with Jordan's support, and decided to take a week's vacation to clear his head. He met Jack on Oceanic Flight 815, and when the plane crashed, Jack helped Matt heal physically and emotionally.
At this point in the story, Jack and Matt are in love. They have been captured by the Tallies, and are trying to get back to their camp, and off the island.
This video features appearances by Jordan, Matt's younger sister, an OC created by jacquelin825; Mia, Matt's best friend on the island, an OC created by littletonpace, and Katie, Matt's best friend off the island, also created by littletonpace.
