Most of the time, I have very little confidence when it comes to licensed games, especially licensed RPGs. When Hogwarts Legacy was first announced, I naturally had my doubts. But it was hard for me NOT to be excited about Hogwarts Legacy, since I really do like the Harry Potter series. The footage that has been gradually drip fed to us over the past couple of years, kept on stepping it up a gear, and it got to the point, where it looked too good to be true.
But how did it turn out? And is it worth playing? Watch and find out!

I recently played through the entire Star Ocean series, and at the time, a complete remake of Star Ocean 2 was the last thing I expected. While I did enjoy the original Star Ocean: The Second Story (On PS1), I also found a lot of issues with it, such as the dependence of walkthroughs, the random encounters, dungeon backtracking, and spammy combat.
The good news is, the Star Ocean: The Second Story R development team knew EXACTLY what they were doing.
This is a near perfect remake. If you’re a Star Ocean 2 fan, you will LOVE what they’ve done here. If you’ve never played the original before, THIS is the version that you should be playing.

Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai. This is a spin-off of the widely renowned Dragon Quest series. Well, the game is actually based off the anime series, which was based off the manga series released in the 90s.
Going into this game, I had never read, the Magna or seen the Anime, but you really don’t need to, as Infinity Strash is a retelling of these events. The gameplay is also completely different to what you would expect from a mainline dragon quest game, but still retains a visual style and other elements that does make it feel Dragon Questy.

At last, I can finally breath! The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been consuming my life for the past month. It’s one of those rare games, where I have little self-control over turning off the Switch and calling it a day. The game is just so easy to get lost in.
It’s prequel, Breath of the Wild, was an outstanding game, and somehow, Tears of the Kingdom manages to improve this winning formula in just about every way.

Tales of Vesperia is one that I missed back in 2009, all those years ago. The fact that it was an Xbox 360 exclusive meant that it slipped through the cracks. In early 2019, Tales of Vesperia was finally made a lot more accessible with the Definitive Edition releasing modern consoles and PC. This definitive edition features a load of new content, including new characters, music, story content and side quests. Now, it still took me a good 18 months to finally pick this up and play it, even with my expectations being massive! So, what did I think? Watch this review to find out!

If I could describe Beast of Reincarnation, I would say it feels a little like Nier Automata and plays a little like Sekiro, which are two of my favourite games of all time. But this Beast of a game also has a few innovative ideas that keep it feeling fresh, especially when it comes to the combat.
Now, some of the reviews out there have been on the mediocre side, and I personally believe that the game deserves more credit that it has got from some sources. Sure it has some issues, but I had a blast with it.

I recently finished playing through the entire Trails series in just a few months. One day, I casually started Trails of Cold Steel 1, not really knowing what I was in for, then, in the blink of the eye, all 9 games were completed.
Today, I’m going to attempt the difficult task of trying to rank all of these games. This is, of course, my opinion only, and I’m sure that many of you will think differently. From what I’ve seen, I know there are many different opinions out there, so I would also really like to know how you would rank the Trails games that you’ve played, so let me know in the comments.
I’m also going to try my hardest not to specifically spoil important plot points for you, but as these games are all directly linked, just seeing gameplay footage from certain games may give some minor things away.
